Testimonial from a first-time Public Partner

"After someone had dumped a pregnant beagle on my door step and she had
her six pups, I was not sure where to go to find the puppies good
reliable homes. One of my friends had mentioned Animal Compassion
Network to me and so I contacted them.

It was less than 2 days and already I was in touch with dog
coordinator, Ann Baron. Ann actually came to my home to meet me, my
family and my mom and pups. She was very thorough in describing the
process of how fostering through ACN worked and I signed up.

My pups were up for adoption at the Pet Smart adoption fair on the
first and third Saturday of every month and also through the ACN
website. I will have to say that 4 out my 6 pups were adopted by people
who had seen them on the website. The last two adopted at the adoption
event.

The adoption events were just the right amount of time (11-3) and the
volunteers are so unbelievably fabulous. Ann was fabulous in her turn
around time in getting to me. I have to admit that in the beginning of
this process I thought that ACN was being a little too particular about
who adopted the pups but they were right on the money with each family.

I feel so great about each home the pups went to and I still talk to
some of the adoptive families and they are so happy with their new
addition. I would most definitely foster for ACN again."

Thanks for everything,
