Adoptions at PetSmart

ACN is PetSmart’s adoption partner.
Come see us at the new PetSmart at the Super Wal-Mart Plaza in Asheville.

For cat adoptions:

  • The first and third Saturday of every month from 11am to 3pm

  • All other Saturdays from 1 to 3pm

  • Every Wednesday from 6 to 8pm

For dog adoptions:

  • The first and third Saturday of every month from 11am to 3pm

 

PetSmart is also keeping ACN cats in-store 24/7. We rotate the cats in and out on a weekly basis so you can see them all, and ACN volunteers come by twice a day to feed and play with the cats.

Remember, all of our pets are kept in foster homes, not a shelter, so they are fully socialized and ready for loving homes. Would you like to volunteer for cat care at PetSmart?

In PetSmart, the cats are kept in a cozy area where you can get to know them.

 ACN volunteers screen potential owners to be sure our pets are going to the perfect home. Stop by PETsMART anytime to see our cats.

As with our cats, all of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes awaiting adoption.

From Asheville: Take I-240 East to Exit 8.  Take a right at the light off the exit and then turn right onto Bleachery Blvd just past the gas station and Pizza Hut. PetSmart is on the right.
From I-40: Take Exit 53B (I-240 W).  Get off at the first exit (Exit 8).  Take a left at the light off the exit.  Cross over the bridge (and past Home Depot), then turn right onto Bleachery Blvd just past the gas station and the Pizza Hut. Go down the hill. PetSmart is on the right.
